A Roadworthy Certificate also known as an RWC is needed when you are planning on either selling your vehicle or registering it. It may also be used to clear a vehicle defect from the title. The purpose of the roadworthy inspection and certificate is to ensure that the main components of the vehicle are road and travel safe, it does not check the mechanical reliability or condition of the vehicle.

Bob Freeman Motors Townsville is a local Approved Inspection Station. Our workshop is an Approved Inspection Station, these are required by Queensland Transport and Main Roads to provide a Roadworthy Certificate including taxis, limousines, hire services such as Uber, Ola and school buses. All driver partners in Queensland are required to have a Certificate of Inspection (COI). Your Certificate of Inspection is valid for 12 months from the time it is issued. To continue using the Uber, Ola app, you will need to obtain a new Certificate of Inspection each year.
